XW5I might be a little late in posting my 2011 Christmas Wishlist (the reasonable version) but I’m sure there are lots of people still doing their last-minute Christmas shopping until now *bats eyelashes*. Here I am making my friends’ and family’s lives easier by presenting them with a list of simple things they can give me to make me happy.

EXHIBIT A – :

A) A ginormous pencil case – I need this, I really do. I need one that will fit all my drawing pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, scissors, and magic donut tape. My magic donut tape, you guys. It needs its space.

B) Old school pencil case with magic drawers – preferably the Barbie variety  (or if you can find this Sailormoon one, you are golden). Remember those grade school pencil cases with buttons that would reveal magic drawers for erasers and pencil shavings, a stick of magnifying glass, a bunch of rulers, even a COMPASS so if ever you find yourself stuck in the woods with just your pencil case, you’re bound to find your way out. I be wanting it.

C) Marks & Spencer Chocolate Orange Biscuits – or anything chocolate orange flavored, really. This is my guilty pleasure. My sister hates it but dear Jesus, whoever thought that orange would mix well with chocolate is a god. I swear by it.

D) Marks & Spencer Digestive Biscuits – of the Milk or Dark variety. This is really cheap and I can make a pack last for as long as 2 weeks. Since my Mom is health conscious and doesn’t like buying too much sweets and junk food for us to consume, snacks like these rarely make a visit to our kitchen pantry. So when we do have these at home, we eat maybe a biscuit or two a day, tops, to make the pack last for a long time. Kaawa.

E) 32 GB SD Card - okay, I know this is unreasonably expensive and nobody would buy me this except probably a sugardaddy (or a real Daddy HUHUHU haha) but I had to put it here just to remind myself that I do need one. See, I even made a Transcend SD card artwork with 3D pop-art effects just for this wishlist! That’s effort right there.

F) Cute, Childish Stuff – My general rule in life: I am a sucker for anything that’s cute, colorful, childish, and cheap. The 4 C’s. Give me stationery with drawings of children with awry, ginger hair and huge red blobs on their cheeks and I am sold. SOLD. I prefer cute stuff on sticky notes / post-its, stickers, stationery, card stock, or pens. :D

G) Time – yes, and I mean the very literal essence of the word. It would be better though, if that time came in the form of a JScott X-Ray Vision watch. Hahaha! But seriously, I’ve got all my work planned out for the holidays. This involves accomplishing more than 19different things, work including sewing Peter Pan collars, painting color wheels, shooting a stop-motion video, writing and recording new songs, making an entire journal from nothing, and reading a 200+++ page worth of snooze-inducing text for a quiz on the 2nd of January. Funndiddlyumpkins!

I literally wish there were more hours in a day, just so I could do more work and do them better. But I just have to endure. We all have to.

Happy pre-Christmas everyone! Buying gifts for everyone and ticking off your checklists when you do, experiencing the Christmas crowd madness everywhere you go while hearing Christmas jingles softly playing in the air as you make a mad dash for the bargain tables – this is truly my favorite part of the holidays; the most wonderful time of the year <3
